Sabonis, Avdija help their teams get wins

Domantas Sabonis scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Kings of Sacramento defeated the Magic of Orlando 109 – 107. This is the 53rd consecutive double-double for the Lithuanian big man who equaled the record held by Kevin Love in 2010-11.

Sabonis, who also had eight assists, needs one more double-double in his next game to have the most consecutive assists since the 1976 NBA-ABA merger.

Franz Wagner finished with 18 points for the Magic who suffered their first defeat after five victories in a row.

Deni Avdija led the Wizards of Washington after the Toronto Raptors 112 – 109 posting 22 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. It was the second consecutive victory for the Wizards and 10th consecutive loss for shorthanded players Raptors it was without their three top scorers.

Tristan Vukcevic made his NBA debut playing three minutes and recording one rebound for the Wizards.
