Domantas Sabonis is having a spectacular season with Kings of Sacramento and shows no signs of slowing down.
The Lithuanian center recorded his 50th consecutive double-double as kings defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 121-111 in overtime at home.
Sabonis led Sacramento with 25 points, 18 rebounds and five assists, shooting an impressive 13/15 from the free throw line. He battled against Spaniard Santi Aldama, who nearly had a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.
In other European player news, Kristaps Porzingis contributed 20 points and eight rebounds in the game Boston Celtics“119-94 victory over the Detroit Pistons.
Nikola Vucevic also scored nearly a double-double in the Chicago Bulls“110-107 victory against Portland Trail Blazers, scoring 22 points and nine rebounds. Onuralp Bitim added nine points and four rebounds.
Despite Lauri Markkanen’s 22 points and 12 rebounds, the Utah Jazz I couldn’t overcome the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, losing 104-114 without help from Rudy Gobert.
Bogdan Bogdanovic had a strong performance in a losing effort, scoring 17 points as Atlanta Falcons fell 136-105 on the road to the the Los Angeles Lakers. Vit Krejci added 11 points for the losing team, while Clint Capela was on pace for a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
