3rd quarter report
The Kings overcame an early deficit to regain the lead in this game. They have a bit of a lead as they currently lead the Lakers 88-73.
If the Kings continue to play like this, they will reach 38-27 in no time. On the other hand, the Lakers will have to settle for a 36-31 record unless they turn things around (and quickly).

What there is to know
The Lakers have played six games at home but will soon have to dust off their jerseys on the road. They will face the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET at Golden 1 Center. The Lakers are expected to win (but not by much), so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Last Sunday, Los Angeles managed to pull off a solid victory against the Timberwolves, winning the game 120-109.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis were among the Lakers’ key playmakers as the former nearly dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine assists and the latter dropped a double-double with 27 points and 25 rebounds. Davis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he has now lost 11 or more in the last 12 games he has played.
Even though the Kings haven’t done well against the Bucks recently (they were 0-10 in their previous ten meetings), they didn’t let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Sacramento won a resounding 129-94 victory over the Bucks at home. For those curious, yes, this is the biggest win the Kings have had all season.
The Kings earned their victory thanks to several key players, but it was De’Aaron Fox up front who scored 29 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Fox didn’t help the Kings’ cause much against the Rockets on Sunday, but the same can’t be said for this game. Domantas Sabonis was another key contributor, posting a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Los Angeles has had some good results recently as they have won three of their last four games, which significantly improved their record to 36-30 this season. As for Sacramento, their victory improved their record to 37-27.
A high-performance offense is likely on the agenda, as both teams are among the highest-scoring teams in the league. The Lakers have had no problem running up the score this season, averaging 117.3 points per game. However, it’s not like the Kings struggled in that department as they averaged 118.4 points per game. With both teams so easily able to rack up points, the only question that remains is who can run up the score.
The Lakers fell short against the Kings in the teams’ last game on Wednesday, losing 130-120. Can the Lakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll know soon enough.
