The LA Clippers, their fans and everyone associated with the team are thrilled that the Intuit Dome is now officially open to the public. A highly ambitious project, years in the making, is now fully completed and ready to welcome thousands of Clippers fans for its inaugural NBA season this October.

That said, not everyone is thrilled about the Clippers’ new home. The city of Los Angeles is still home to a lot of Lakers fans, and they probably feel a little threatened by the Clippers’ extremely impressive new arena. Just look at how Crypto.com Arena felt the need to try to surpass the Clippers with their latest addition.

A prominent Lakers fan is definitely not a fan of Intuit Dome. I am of course talking about Snoop Dogg. The world-renowned rapper and producer is also known as a huge Lakers fan. Recently, Snoop appeared on All the smokea podcast hosted by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, and he gave his honest thoughts on the arena.

Snoop’s roast was preceded by Matt Barnes explaining how “The Wall” works at the Intuit Dome. Of course, this is the section of the stands at the new arena designed to accommodate only Clippers fans. Steve Ballmer intentionally made this section of the stands exclusive to the home team’s fans, with away jerseys banned and ticket sales to traveling fans strictly prohibited.

When Barnes finished explaining that you had to be a Clippers fan to sit on “The Wall,” Snoop responded in typical fashion. “Well, it’ll be kind of empty in this m—–f—– then,” he said. This of course got the recording studio talking, as Jackson and Barnes couldn’t hold back their laughter.

That’s the expected reaction from a die-hard Lakers fan like Snoop Dogg. Opposing fans can mock the Intuit Dome all they want, but it looks like the Clippers’ new home court could very well become one of the best arenas in the NBA.
