The Washington Wizards released their 2024-25 NBA season schedule last week and Greg Finberg also listed the Key home matches here. Here are the main parts of the schedule, which the Wizards wrote about when the the calendar has been published.

A home departure for once! Wizards are not only start of the 2024-25 season at home. They will also play four of their first six games at home. Washington has often had busy stretches away from home to start the season in recent years, so this is a nice change of pace.

Washington to have international match outside Canada — The Wizards will play the Miami Heat on November 2 in Mexico CityWashington has not played an international game outside of Canada (due to the Toronto Raptors) since 2019, when they played the New York Knicks in London, United Kingdom.

The longest home streaks last five games each — Washington will play two five-game homestands. Both will take place in the latter part of the season, the first from February 7-21 and the second from March 27-April 3.

The longest road trip lasts seven games! Washington will play seven road games from March 8-18. There’s not much scheduled at Capital One Arena during that time, other than Capitals hockey games on March 9 and 18, so there may be a big festival then.

The Wizards still won’t have many nationally televised games — The home game against the Phoenix Suns on January 16 is the only one that will be broadcast on national television. You can watch that game on TNT.
