After failing to make the playoffs last season, the Golden State Warriors were in desperate need of a big improvement. They made the move to sign Paul George and Lauri Markkanen but failed to acquire them because they weren’t aggressive enough. Despite that, Steph Curry doesn’t seem to be worried.

According to Anthony Slater of The AthleticSteph Curry expressed no concerns about the Warriors’ current roster, or the inability to secure an All-Star co-star. Here’s the full excerpt from Slater’s article.

“Dunleavy keeps him informed of final personnel options and decisions,” Slater said“Curry has expressed no signs of panic or agitation, team sources said. But there is a choice between action or inaction in the coming months that will give a clearer indication of his long-term mindset.”

While Curry is supposed to have confidence in his leadership, the report is still very surprising. On paper, the Golden State Warriors are arguably worse off than they were last season, and they didn’t even make the playoffs last season. The team especially falls apart whenever Steph Curry isn’t playing at 100 percent, and he’s already 36 years old.

All indications are that the Golden State Warriors need a second All-Star for Steph Curry. While he seems content in his position for now, it will only take a rough month or two for that to change quickly.
