The Golden State Warriors are currently just 34-30 on the season and are number 10 in the Western Conference, although a five-game lead over the Houston Rockets means they will almost assuredly qualify for the Play-In tournament.
And head coach Steve Kerr believes the impending return of superstar guard Stephen Curry will propel the team into a deep playoff run:

Curry, 35, missed the last two games with a sprained ankle, although he was cleared to return to the court this week and will rejoin the team for practice on Friday. according to Kendra Andrews from ESPN.
Surprisingly, the Dubs are 4-1 this season when Curry is unavailable, although no one could predict the team will do much in the playoffs without his 26.9 points, 4.9 assists and 4.9 threes per game.
Even with him, the Warriors seem far from successful. The team is currently a combined 3-4 against the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers this season, the other three teams currently seeded in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday. They have five more games against the Mavericks and Lakers down the stretch, which will likely play a big role in playoff seeding.
