THE Charlotte Hornets Newcomers Taj Gibson and Josh Green have officially selected their jersey numbers for the upcoming season.

Veteran forward Gibson, who signed July 13, will wear the No. 67 he wore for several teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons.

Meanwhile, Green, who was acquired in an exchange with the Dallas Mavericks, will wear No. 10. Green’s choice comes after his previous number, No. 8, was already claimed by Nick Smith Jr.

The move signifies a fresh start for Green as he joins a new team and looks to contribute to Charlotte’s growth.

Gibson, a seasoned veteran, opted for a less traditional number, 67. The choice may reflect his experience and leadership within the team, which sets him apart from other veteran players.

Fans can expect to see Gibson and Green don their new jerseys as the Hornets kick off their season on October 23 when they visit the Houston Rockets.
