For the fourth and final time of the regular season, the Oklahoma City Thunder will face their division rival, the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Thunder are 3-0 in this game so far this season, posting two wins by over 40 points, but the last meeting between these teams ended in a two-point victory for OKC.

The Blazers are in a tough situation right now, as they are rebuilding and have several key players out of the lineup due to injuries.

Can the team hold up against OKC?

Thunder Injury Report

Blazers injury report

Oklahoma City Thunder

Chet Holmgren: Holmgren hasn’t exactly played his best against Portland this season, scoring just eight points in his last meeting with the Blazers, but he blocked six shots in that game. The rookie big man has had a strong streak since January 31 (14 games), averaging 18.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.

Portland Trail Blazers

Anfernée Simons: The Blazers guard comes into this game coming off back-to-back 30-point games, including 34 points against the NBA’s No. 1 defense — the Minnesota Timberwolves — on Monday. Simons missed the first meeting with the Thunder and only scored 14 and 17 points in the other two games against them. If he has a big game, the Blazers might have a chance to cover him.

If there’s a weakness in OKC’s impressive ATS record this season, it’s that of a road favorite.

The team is just 10-10 ATS at this level this season, but I think the Thunder might be a little undervalued here.

In their last meeting’s two-point win over Portland, the Thunder couldn’t have played worse, making just seven shots from beyond the arc and shooting 64.3 percent from the line. On the other hand, Portland made 18 of 39 3-pointers in this game, but the team still failed to achieve victory.

If the Thunder returns to their usual game on Wednesday, it could get ugly quickly, something we’ve seen in this game before this season.

Additionally, the Blazers are just 10-13 ATS as home dogs in the 2023-24 campaign. Give me OKC to cover on Wednesday.

Choice: Thunder – 12.5 (-110)
