According to the NBA, Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn was suspended for two games.
According to the NBA, Dunn is suspended for two games without pay for his altercation with Jabari Smigh Jr., who was suspended for one game.
Dunn will begin his suspension tomorrow, March 25, when the Jazz face the Dallas Mavericks.
This probably affects the Rockets more than the Jazz. Dunn has been a big part of the Jazz’s season this year, but as the Jazz have focused on youth development to finish the season, winning games hasn’t been the main focus as the Jazz look ahead to a long reconstruction that awaits it. If anything, it gives the Jazz more reason and opportunity to split minutes between different players, giving them a different look at what they need to finish the season. That likely means Collin Sexton gets the start again against the Mavericks and in Game 2 with Dunn out.
