Wemby joins a group of elite and established players like Ja Morant (90), Tyrese Haliburton (90), Kawhi Leonard (92), Kyrie Irving (92), Jaylen Brown (92) and Donovan Mitchell (92).

Wembanyama once again made history by becoming the highest-rated second-year player in NBA 2K history, according to Ronnie 2K, director of digital marketing for 2K Games.

“It’s the highest rating for a second-year player after the highest rating for a first-year player, but he didn’t disappoint at any point,” Ronnie 2K told The Sporting News during NBA 2K Community Day.

“Since that first Summer League game, he’s been absolutely dominant, so there’s no sky the limit. I mean, you saw him play internationally over the summer and he looked like he took the next step, so he’s only going to get better with experience and time.

“I don’t think it’s crazy, I think we’ll progress from there this year, I really do.”
