James made 25 appearances and six starts in his 2023-24 first season at USC after recovering from heart surgery last summer.
ESPN Adrien Wojnarowski It’s previously been reported that James is expected to join the G League after making his NBA debut with the Lakers, but offseason work with pros could help the 19-year-old accelerate how quickly he can return from the South Bay Lakers.
