Since returning from the All-Star break, the Bucks have won nine of their last twelve games. Let that sink in for a second, especially in the face of loud talk from the glass-half-empty portion of the fan base that is focused on the three losses, especially the ones in Northern California. Or even the relative difficulty Milwaukee had in defeating Philly without Embiid. To be fair, those losses were bad and the Sixers won uneventfully, but none that should subtract three impressive wins against Western Conference opponents, including two without Giannis.

The tendency of some fans to focus on the negatives despite the positives of equal or greater weight (e.g. wins against the Clippers and Suns when the team was not whole ≥ road losses against teams of the similarly talented West Coast when the team was) can be infuriating. , but as always, the truth lies somewhere between the two polarities. What’s safer is that some games don’t really feel like a playoff situation (back-to-back games, long road trips, key players sitting out are the usual reasons), so we don’t have to treat them as gospel, win or lose. . Likewise, how much – if any – of the pre-coaching change should we take into account when evaluating the Bucks’ playoff chances? While we probably shouldn’t completely dismiss the Griffin era, I don’t think it should really influence our view of a potential series against a younger team that the Bucks have struggled with, namely the Pacers.

In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we’ll take your thoughts on one aspect of the blowouts, but otherwise, let’s turn our sights to the playoffs by talking about the matchups and individual performances of perhaps the two most scrutinized elements of recent postseasons of the Bucks: training. and point guard offense.
