Given their performance, there are questions about whether they will make the playoffs, as they are ranked 10th in the Western Conference and are 12-9 in their last 21 games. NBA insider Bill Simmons talks about Golden State’s disastrous season on his podcast called The Bill Simmons Podcast. He said, “The Warriors have had a hell of a season. Draymond missed 10 games and drama in the first two months, they lost CP for a while, Wiggins was gone for a while and Curry just got hurt. However, even after the Warriors team was fully healthy, Simmons said: “They seem to be going the other way.” So, he stressed, “When you spend $300 million on your team, you kind of want them to be a top 10 team in a conference.
And with their performances of late, the Warriors don’t look in great shape. They can’t even fully rely on Curry, because he has not had a good match since his return from injury. Even the age factor is catching up with the four-time NBA champion, as he is now 35 years old, and according to Simmons, he doesn’t have many glorious years left. Additionally, with the team’s other core players like Klay Thompson And Green Draymond not up to par, the Warriors “There doesn’t seem to be a second guy they can trust offensively.”
Because of this, the Warriors are currently in a very unstable state, and all that can help them is a rebuild of their roster. However, will they be willing to let go of their main team players?

The Warriors have no plans to trade Stephen Curry and co
Despite a rough season that saw the Golden State Warriors fall out of the playoffs, trade speculation has persisted around critical players such as Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Despite Thompson’s issues this season, including a career-low shooting percentage and Green’s recurring suspension issues, the Warriors appreciate his efforts.

While trade speculation indicates that everyone except Stephen Curry is on the table, including Thompson and Green, the Warriors have maintained that they have no plans to deal either star. Their loyalty to their key players demonstrates the organization’s optimism in its ability to turn around the season without requiring significant roster changes. So, as the season progresses, only time will tell if this optimistic behavior works in their favor or excludes them from the playoffs.
