Train with Steph Curry is every basketball fan’s dream. Golden State Warriors The superstar is not only one of the most talented players on the planet, but also one of the most popular. Over the summer, Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. had the chance to spend time working out with Golden State’s star point guard, giving him the opportunity to seek out Curry’s input and look to improve his own perimeter attack.
Porter Jr. recently discussed his workouts with Curry during an appearance on the “Off Guard podcast”. The Nuggets star noted how being in the gym with the four-time Golden State champion is “incredible” before noting that Curry’s ability as a shooter has pushed him to stay focused and work to improve his game.
“When I train with Steph, it’s amazing and it’s so much fun,” Porter Jr. said. “There’s not a lot of shooters in the world that can make me really focus. Because I can shoot naturally. But when I train with Steph, it’s amazing.”
Curry probably got something out of his sessions with Porter Jr., too, because there’s always something you can learn from working with others. Still, Warriors Fans are probably hoping he hasn’t shared all his secrets with a rival team’s top perimeter threat.
Still, Nuggets fans will no doubt be excited to see the impact Curry has had on Porter Jr.’s perimeter shooting ability, while Warriors fans will be hoping Curry has sizing up a potential playoff opponent heading into the new season.
