My mom says she’s very excited about the idea Ryan Smith’s vision for the city center. Mom says the mayor (the town boss) says it’s truly transformative.
We don’t know what that means (Mom says no one knows), but Mom says Ryan Smith’s vision for downtown will make it look like Las Vegas, with shiny glass buildings and lots of flashing lights and a really huge screen that she says will show videos and stuff to promote Ryan Smith’s brand.
I don’t know what that means, but mom says that even though Ryan Smith is a very rich man, he still needs more money to turn downtown into Las Vegas, so promoting his brand helps him , because it helps him earn even more money. . And mom says that even though Ryan Smith is a very rich man, he still needs our help.
So mom says we’ll pay more taxes to donate to Ryan Smith, even though he’s a very rich man. Mom says that because we’ll donate to Ryan Smith, we’ll have less money to spend on things like food, clothes, and gas for the car. But Mom says that’s okay, because Ryan Smith will use our donations to build a fancy new arena (it’s a place where people play sports). It looks really cool, but Mom says that while our donations will fund the fancy new arena, we won’t be able to afford to see people play sports there. But that’s okay too. Because we can watch them at home on our television. Or maybe we could even go into town to watch them on Ryan Smith’s super big screen!
