What are the legitimate expectations for the Oklahoma City Thunder next season? For a ballclub that finished the 2023-24 NBA season with the best record in the Western Conference and a solid playoff run, expectations are understandably high. And when you factor in trades to add 3-and-D maestro Alex Caruso and rising big man Isaiah Hartenstein, they might be a little TOO high.

After all, these two newcomers are going to have to learn their roles on their new team, and the same goes for the Thunder’s established players who have to learn to play with these two. With any luck, they could get along quickly, but it will likely take a while for that to happen.
