Pacers training camp officially starts

The Pacers are scheduled to begin training camp this season on October 1. That’s exactly one week before their first preseason game against the Atlanta Hawks on October 8. Plus, it will give the team a few weeks to prepare for their first regular-season game against the Detroit Pistons on October 23.

Training Camp Location

The Pacers will hold their home training camp in Indiana. However, it won’t be at their usual home, Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Training camp will instead be held in downtown Indianapolis at the St. Vincent Center, which the Pacers have used since its opening in 2017.

Media Day

Media Day will take place on September 30, one day before the start of training camp. During Media Day, Pacers players will take their official 2024-24 season photos and participate in one-on-one player interviews.
