Eight of the worst 10 losses came on the road, including four, coincidentally, against the Celtics.
The 52-point loss is also the worst in Warriors franchise history, regular season or playoff, when Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green start the game, surpassing the previous 39-point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 5 of 2022 Western Conference Semifinals.
Golden State had won three straight and eight straight road games before Sunday’s loss.
The Warriors now look to erase their historic loss and prepare for another tough game against the Bucks on Wednesday at Chase Center.
