Despite disappointing results in their first two playoff series, there is a silver lining in their collective struggle, a silver lining that Garnett subscribe in advance for the 2024-25 campaign.
On a recent episode of “KG Certified,” Garnett said he believes the success of superstars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker in winning gold at the 2024 Olympics is important to the Suns’ upcoming season.

Can the Suns win more than 47 regular season games?
“I think so,” Garnett said. “They’re going to be +47 on me. And then, everybody’s healthy. So guess what? These young teams still need to develop and be together.”
Heading into next season, Garnett believes that between the Suns’ three stars, all three have a chance to become MVP candidates in 2025.
“Devin Booker can be an MVP, you know what I mean. [Bradley] Beal, he can be an MVP. These guys, they got it, man. And you got it [Kevin Durant]”, Garnett added. “Yes, they are older. [But] “Everyone is older.”
