Whether it’s negotiating a new contract or switching sneaker brands, Micah Parsons is always one step ahead. Parsons’ vigilance was on display ahead of Sunday’s NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

Thanks to the Cowboys’ social media team, we can see their linebacker arrive at Huntington Bank Field wearing Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Donovan Mitchell’s signature sneakers. Parsons’ choice of footwear was no coincidence.

Parsons began his NFL career with Nike. However, he signed a multi-year deal with adidas earlier this summer and has taken it upon himself to return the favor to his new sneaker sponsor. That includes showing love to an NBA star from an opposing city.

At a time when it’s hard to wear basketball shoes casually, Parsons proved to be the exception. The All-Pro linebacker paired his basketball shoes with a cropped adidas tracksuit. Below, we’ll give you a detailed look and analysis of what athletes and fans need to know about the sneakers.

The adidas DON Issue #6 is capable of performing at the highest levels of the NBA. The model sits atop an ultra-lightweight Lightstrike midsole and a unique rubber outsole with a raised traction pattern. Best of all, this futuristic shoe looks great on and off the court.
