The first game against the 76ers of the 2024-25 season will be on November 15 in an NBA Cup game. After that, the Magic will have three more chances to get revenge on the 76ers.
The Atlanta Hawks and Trae Young may not have lived up to expectations in recent seasons, but they have dominated against the Orlando Magic. The Hawks have won six of the last eight meetings against the Magic. Over the last two seasons, the Magic have won one of four games each season and are currently on a two-game losing streak against the Hawks.
The 2024-25 season should provide the Magic with an opportunity to change that. They are expected to be the better team and will have their first chance to prove it on February 10. Most of the Magic’s matchups against the Hawks come late in the season and will have implications for the race for the playoffs.
The Milwaukee Bucks are still considered one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference because of the star power they have assembled with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. The Magic already fared significantly better against the Bucks last season. While they lost every matchup against the Bucks in 2022-23, they evened the season series in 2023-24.

It seems like you can never rule out the Miami Heat. The Magic learned that lesson the hard way, losing 7 of the last 10 games against the Heat. Over the last two seasons, the Magic have won just one of four meetings with the Heat. Miami may not have had a great regular season performance lately, but they have consistently beaten the Magic.
