If Minnesota didn’t play Monday, it would make more sense to take the T-Wolves, but back-to-back nights against two tough opponents with a depleted roster isn’t a great formula for success. Minnesota is 6-4 in its last 10 games, but is 3-7-0 against the spread. Denver is 8-2-0 in their last 10 games and they have moved ahead of the Wolves in the standings.
Minnesota has won the last two meetings in Minneapolis, but the Nuggets have won five of the last seven meetings overall. This spread is not important to cover.
Prediction: Take the Denver Nuggets at -3.5 (-110)

These teams combined for 199 points when they last met, with Denver being dreadful in the game. You can’t expect that here, especially with a depleted Minnesota roster. The winning team has scored at least 110 points in each of the last 10 meetings, and the winner has scored 120 or more in six of the last 10 meetings.
They are two solid shooting teams. Although they can be shut down at times, it is in the Nuggets’ advantage to play run’n’gun to wear down Minnesota.
