Hampton was the 24th pick in the 2020 NBA draft and came into the league considered a player with a lot of potential.

He spent time with the Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat over four seasons.

Hampton could prove to be a nice addition to a team for training camp (or on a 10-day contract).

He’s only 23 years old, so he still has plenty of time to become an NBA rotation player.

The 76ers are coming off a year in which they lost to the New York Knicks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
