George Karl coached in the NBA for two decades.
He had an extremely successful career with the Denver Nuggets.
Although they didn’t win a title, they had (at one point) a great team led by Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson.
During the 2009 season, the Nuggets reached the Western Conference Finals.
Karl and Anthony had a notably bad relationship.
That said, Karl seems to want to end the conflict.
The 73-year-old recently sent a message (via X) that received more than 900 likes in four hours.
Karl wrote:“In a time of division, where coming together really matters, I am done feuding with Carmelo Anthony.
I have immense respect for Melo. We don’t know each other yet, but I’ve heard that he’s very effective and uses his influence to make a positive impact.
From now on, it’s only love. 🩵🧡”

Anthony spent eight seasons with the Nuggets (the longest tenure of his 19-year NBA career).
During that span, he averaged 24.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 45.9 percent from the field in 564 games.
After Denver, he played for the New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers.
There is no doubt that the 10-time NBA All-Star will be a Hall of Famer.

Karl, over the years, criticized Anthony for being lazy and not reaching his full potential in his basketball career, but never pursued him as a man or in his personal life.
