Gradey Dick is easily one of the funniest new players in the entire NBA. The Toronto Raptors rookie is known for his dynamic personality and his ability to always crack a joke, no matter the circumstances. Overall, he’s pretty shameless with his jokes. It will get NSFW, although it still does it in a subtle way that makes people laugh. Even though his start to the season was quite slow, he was able to make big improvements throughout the year. Now he’s getting consistent playing time and he’s even making big plays. Needless to say, Raptors fans like him and they are interested to see what he can do in the future.
Last night, the Toronto Raptors played against the Orlando Magic. After the game, Dick approached Magic rookie Anthony Black and asked him to do a jersey swap. In the middle of this exchange, both players had huge smiles on their faces. Eventually, they repositioned themselves so that Gradey was holding Black’s jersey on the left and Black was holding Dick’s jersey on the right. As you can see below, it spells “Black Dick,” creating a viral moment that got NBA Twitter angry.

Following the trade, the Orlando Magic posted the photo. However, after realizing what was being said in the image, the team decided to delete the post. This attracted some attention online, with many feeling it was a mistake. Sure, it was a rude message displayed, but worse things have happened. It was a great way to reach and interact with fans, but they ultimately failed in their mission.
