What there is to know
The Minnesota Timberwolves’ road trip will continue as they take on the Utah Jazz at 9 p.m. ET on March 18 at the Delta Center. The Timberwolves have been dropping the ball more recently, as they have increased their point total in each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, the Timberwolves’ game was tied 48-48 at halftime, but luckily for them, it didn’t stay that way. They were clearly victorious by a margin of 119-100 against Utah. Winning is a little easier when you make 13 more threes than your opponent, like the Timberwolves did.
Several players had strong performances to lead the Timberwolves to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Edwards, who shot 5 of 7 from downtown and had a double-double with 31 points and ten rebounds . Edwards hasn’t dropped below 25 points in three straight games. Naz Reid was another key contributor, posting a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Minnesota’s victory improved its record to 46-21. As for Utah, they haven’t been great recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 15 games, which has taken a major dent in their 29-38 record this season.
As for their game on Monday, the Timberwolves are the favorites, as experts expect them to win by seven points. They might be worth a quick bet since they’re sitting on a four-game streak of covering the spread when playing as a road favorite.
The Timberwolves earned their victory against the Jazz in the teams’ last matchup on Saturday by a conclusive 119-100. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or will the Jazz have a better game plan this time around? We’ll know soon enough.
