
THE Brooklyn Nets are less than a month away from the start of the first training camp for their current post-trade rebuild Mikal Bridges At The New York Knicks earlier this summer. While some Nets Fans believe Bridges didn’t want to join the Knicks, but he’s still willing to give Brooklyn credit for his improved game.
“Y’all should appreciate Brooklyn because it made me better. While some Nets fans appreciated Bridges’ time in Brooklyn, especially because he was asked to play a role he wasn’t meant to, some Brooklyn fans feel Bridges hasn’t improved, which may come down to expectations. In 2022-23, Bridges averaged 26.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from beyond the three-point line. However, last season, Bridges’ numbers dropped to 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, while shooting 43.6 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from three-point range, as he shared some of the offensive workload with the promising scorer.
