THE Miami heat (37-31) concludes a 4-game road trip Wednesday against Cleveland Cavaliers (43-25). Tip-off at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sports Betting lines around the Heat vs. Cavaliers odds and make sure our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Seasonal series: tie 1-1; The road team won and covered each of the first 2 meetings, with the Cavaliers winning 111-99 at Miami in the last game on December 8 as a 1.5 point favorite while the Under (223.5) have cashed

The Heat have won 2 of the first 3 games on road trips, but they are only 1-2 against the spread (ATS), while they were only 2- 7 ATS in the last 9 games in March. The Under has won 7 straight for Miami, going 18-4 over the last 22 contests.

The Cavaliers dominated the Indiana Pacers on the road 108-103 as a 7-point underdog on Monday. The Cavs have conceded 3 of the last 4 outings, while the Under and Over have alternated in the last 4 meetings.

If the Indiana victory was good news, Cleveland received more bad news. Best striker Donovan Mitchell broke his nose during Saturday’s game at Houston. He received friendly fire from Tristan Thompson as players scrambled for a rebound. Mitchell underwent a procedure to realign the area, and he will be out until at least late March or early April, as he won’t even be re-evaluated for another week.

Heat at Cavaliers picks and predictions

Prediction

Heat 102, Riders 96

Money line

THE HEAT (+108) are a strong play on the road as small dogs, but be careful.

If Butler is allowed to play, be a little more aggressive. If Jimmy Buckets sits still, still play Miami, but go a little lighter.

Remember, the road team has won both games so far this season, and whatever happens with Butler’s status, the Cavs are without their leading scorer and 2 other starters.

Against the spread

If you like the HEAT +2 (-110)This is a better play on the moneyline, unless you totally believe the Cavaliers -2 (-110) are going to win, but only by 1 or 2 points.

If you like Miami, this is a much better value.

More less

LESS THAN 201.5 (-110) is a weak number, but it’s a strong game.

Again, monitor Butler’s status. If he’s unable to go, playing the Under a little more aggressively is a good betting strategy. Either way, the Cavs will be without Mitchell, who leads the team with 27.4 PPG. The Under has been on fire for Miami as of late, and the Under is 5-0 in the last 5 games the Cavs have played without Spida on the court.
