Bullfighting games, because they are contractually obligated This season and all others will be played and broadcast on television.

The Bulls, however, do not have a television network partner. NBC Sports Chicago is disappearing as Comcast is getting out of the regional sports network business, leaving full ownership to the teams.

In place of the Reinsdorf-owned Bulls and White Sox and the Wirtz-owned Blackhawks, there is CHSN (the letters stand for…). Or at least that was what was reported a few months ago:

However, with just a few weeks to go until launch (I see September 25 as the Blackhawks’ first preseason game, and the Bulls starting their first of 87 exhibition games this year on October 8), the network is still just a website and a largely empty mailbox in Nashville.

Scott Powers, who covers the Blackhawks for The Athletic, attempted to get some information on the lack of movement. received almost “no comments” (via). Jeff Agrest of the Sun-Times was unable to comment further. of this new subsidiary of Reindscorp, but I had news from another director:

Will Perdue will not return to the Bulls studios when the team moves its broadcasts to the Chicago Sports Network, which is set to launch Oct. 1, Perdue said. [us]

Lost was a bad TV show. Even when he had good ideas, and to his credit he was sometimes critical of the team, he took way too long to convey them.

But while it’s not a huge addition to the show, it’s at least an extra person. Perdue said the new show will consist of just one analyst and one anchor, with a few guests.

According to Agrest, the host is still in question (as Jason Goff is rumored to be returning to WSCR radio full-time) but the analyst “is expected to be Kendall Gill.”.

As for the rest of the NBC Sports Chicago team: Gameday announcers Adam Amin and Stacey King are employed by the team and are not changing. However, “the role of Bulls insider KC Johnson is being determined.” KC wrote for their website, was a sideline anchor for broadcasts, and co-hosted a regular podcast.

The team they broadcast is it’s sure to be terrible AND boring. I don’t think there’s much that can be done to generate interest from broadcasters. And we know that the ‘dorf teams don’t even particularly appreciate interest, because it means real scrutiny. So they’ll most likely adopt another ‘dorf mentality: cut costs.
