The Valley Suns will face the Stockton Kings in their home opener on Nov. 11 at Mullett Arena in Tempe. Stockton is SacramentoThe G League team. Tickets for the home opener are available starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
The Valley Suns are accepting deposits for 2024-25 season tickets, group tickets and/or premium seats according to the team’s website, thevalleysuns.comSeason passes start at $15 per seat.
There are 24 home games. Tickets for the remaining home games will go on sale at a later date. The Valley Suns have eight straight games, including five at Mullett Arena.
For the first time, all 30 NBA teams own or operate an NBA G League affiliate. There are 31 G League teams in total.
The Valley Suns will host a one-day local tryout Saturday at Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Fitness Complex in Tempe from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The 2024-25 G League schedule begins Nov. 8 with the new 16-game tournament, the G League’s version of the NBA Cup. Teams are divided into four regions to play 14 games against each other.
The Valley Suns are in the West Region with Rip City Remix (Portland Trail Blazers), Salt Lake City Stars (Utah Jazz), San Diego Clippers (Los Angeles Clippers), South Bay Lakers (The Los Angeles Lakers), the Santa Cruz Warriors and the Stockton Kings.
Eight teams qualify to compete for the championship at the G League Winter Showcase in December Orlando – four teams with “the best winning percentage in each region” and “the next four teams with the best winning percentages, regardless of region”. Each team will play at least two matches during the showcase.
The 34-game regular season schedule will begin after the kickoff tournament, with each team starting 0-0. The top six teams from each conference will advance to the playoffs. The G League Finals will be held in April 2025.
The Valley Suns are in the West. The other teams in the West are the Austin Spurs (San Antonio Spurs), Iowa Wolves (Minnesota Timberwolves), The Memphis Scam (Memphis Grizzlies), Capitanes de Mexico, Oklahoma City Blue (OKC Thunder), Rio Grande Valley Vipers (Houston Rockets), Sioux Falls Air Force (Miami Heat), Legends of Texas (The Dallas Mavericks), Rip City Remix, Salt Lake City Stars, San Diego Clippers, Santa Cruz Warriors, South Bay Lakers, Stockton Kings and Valley Suns.
Mexico does not have an NBA affiliate.
The G League broadcast schedule for the 2024-25 season will be announced at a later date.
The Phoenix Suns previously had a G League team, the Northern Arizona Suns, which played four seasons at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, 90 minutes from Phoenix.
The Suns sold the G League team to the Detroit PistonsThe inaugural season of the Motor City Cruise was 2021-22.
