The Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has had an incredible career. He has been named an All-Star nine times so far and has been part of an All-NBA team six times during his career while reaching the Conference Finals three times (twice with the Indiana Pacers and once with the The Los Angeles Clippers).
As George now heads to the Sixers, he will look to lead Philadelphia past the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2001. He, Joel EmbiidAnd Tyrese Maxey will arguably form the most talented trio in the league heading into the 2024-25 season.
HoopsHype was impressed with George’s career so far and ranked him No. 18 on their list of Top 20 Small Forwards in NBA History:
Paul George, who already has a Hall of Fame resume, still has plenty of free time and was forced to sit out the game with a serious leg injury, will undoubtedly finish even higher on these rankings once he wraps up his career. An elite two-way player, George can score at a high level from three-point range, mid-range and around the cup.
If George can bring home a title, he can climb lists like these and solidify his Hall of Fame credentials. He has accomplished so much in his NBA career and the title is the only thing missing so far. The Sixers will give him a great chance to get the job done.
